SCAI has successfully appointed a nominee, Deepali Tukaye, MD, PhD, FSCAI, to participate in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Evidence Review Contractor Advisory meeting on non-invasive evaluations from coronary computed tomography angiograms. CMS will use the information obtained from the panel to inform its decision on the development of a Local Coverage Determination (LCD)in this area.
