On March 20, CMS released their Final Decision Memo on the NCD for Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement (TTVR). The decision includes the details of the required Coverage with Evidence Development (CED) study and contains a few changes from the proposed decision memo.
Despite specialty society recommendations, the NCD does not include specific operator or facility requirements. The document largely follows the CED requirements, which will be used to inform a future NCD.
