Morgan H. Randall, MD, FSCAI | SCAI

Morgan H. Randall, MD, FSCAI, is an interventional cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with highest honors while also playing as a scholarship athlete on the football team. He then attended medical school at the University of Kentucky, followed by residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. His cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships were completed at the University of Florida, where he was awarded the Carl J. Pepine Research Award. 

At UT Medical Center, Dr. Randall serves as an assistant program director for the cardiovascular disease fellowship and has won multiple teaching awards. He founded and developed the first clinic in East Tennessee focused on ANOCA and serves on multiple committees within his institution, including the medical executive committee and the physician oversight committee for the office of clinical trials. His research interests include advancing the diagnosis and treatment of angina and quality improvement in interventional cardiology. Within SCAI, he serves on the quality improvement committee and has contributed to multiple societal publications. He is board-certified in interventional cardiology, general cardiology, nuclear medicine, and cardiac CT. His hobbies outside of medicine include spending time with his wife and three young children, watching sports, and traveling.
