Dr. Francesco Pelliccia is an associate professor of cardiology at Sapienza University of Rome, a practicing interventional cardiologist, and a recognized expert in cardiovascular medicine with a focus on rare cardiomyopathies and percutaneous coronary interventions. 

Dr. Pellicia holds an MD and a PhD and is affiliated with Sapienza University of Rome, where he serves as an associate professor in the Department of Medical and Cardiovascular Sciences.

Dr. Pelliccia specializes in interventional cardiology, including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and is actively involved in research and clinical practice related to anticoagulation strategies post-PCI. 

He is also recognized for his work on rare cardiomyopathies, contributing to position papers in collaboration with the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC) and the Italian Society of Pediatric Cardiology (SICP).
