Building a Shock Team Workshop
Applications for the workshop are now closed.
SCAI invites a limited number of multi-disciplinary teams to join us at 2023 SCAI SHOCK for a sponsored workshop, “Building a Cardiogenic Shock Program,” including two group whiteboard sessions.
Teams from different backgrounds and experience levels will share their ideas, struggles, and lessons learned.
Featuring:
- A review of heart team journey
- A contemporary look at the treatment of cardiogenic shock
- The nuts and bolts of implementing a Shock team
- White board session: group cases
- The finances of a Shock team
- White board session: barriers
Workshop Details:
Registration for the Building a Team Workshop is free, and teams also receive complimentary registration for 2023 SCAI SHOCK enabling them to join main conference program when not participating in their required workshop sessions.
Teams must be multi-disciplinary and include 3-5 team members, including but not limited to cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, nurses, APP, and hospital administration.
Schedule:
- Exclusive Team Session: Thursday, October 12, noon–6 pm
- Additional program content (teams may be invited to present): Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14
- Exclusive Wrap-up Session: Saturday, October 14, 4–5 pm
