Dr. Doosup Shin is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and assistant director of research at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in Roslyn, NY. He completed his interventional cardiology training at Duke University, followed by an additional year of advanced clinical and research training at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, where he now serves as full-time faculty. His clinical and research interests include intravascular imaging in PCI, the evaluation and treatment of calcified coronary lesions, emerging interventional therapies such as renal denervation, coronary physiology and microvascular dysfunction, and the application of advanced CT technology in cardiovascular care.

In 2025 Dr. Shin was the recipient of the SCAI-Abbott Early Career Research Grant for his project, Use of Alternate Flush Media in the Lower Extremity to Facilitate Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging of the Infrapopliteal Segment.
