Devi G. Nair, MD | SCAI

DEVI G. NAIR, M.D., FACC, FHRS, is the Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Division at St. Bernard’s Heart & Vascular Center, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Her clinical practice focuses on heart rhythm disorders, including atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, heart failure and the treatments for these disorders, including Cardiac Ablation, Device therapy, and left atrial appendage occlusion therapy.

Dr. Nair's research interests include the evaluation of fluoroscopy reduction techniques and stroke reduction strategies in atrial fibrillation. She also has a major focus on the quality of life and healthcare outcomes. Dr. Nair is actively involved in the teaching of residents and fellows and has received several awards for teaching excellence including the Golden teaching excellence award by the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. Dr. Nair has won the People's Choice award for the best cardiologist in Jonesboro for the last six years.

Dr. Nair has served as the Chair and Vice-Chair for the Heart Rhythm Society Membership Subcommittee in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017 respectively. She serves as the physician chair for the annual St. Bernard's Health and Fitness expo that brings health screening, community education, and preparticipation physicals for athletes, providing these services free of cost to thousands of people residing in Northeast Arkansas. She is on the governing board of the Arkansas chapter of the American College of Cardiology. In addition to her clinical and research practices, she is well-published and actively participates in multiple clinical trials in cardiac electrophysiology as Principal Investigator. She has also served in the role of National PI and on the Steering Committee for multiple National and International Clinical Trials.
