Dr. Sinjini Biswas is an interventional cardiologist and complex PCI operator at the Bristol Heart Institute in the UK. She received an international undergraduate scholarship at the University of Melbourne to study medicine and graduated in 2009. She completed her internal medicine and cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, obtaining a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017. She was then awarded scholarships by the National Heart Foundation and the Australian Government to complete a PhD at Monash University in the use of large datasets to optimize acute cardiac systems of care. Subsequently, she undertook 2 fellowships at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Bristol Heart Institute in TAVI and CHIP/CTO PCI, respectively, during which time she was also selected for the joint British Cardiovascular Society/American College of Cardiology Emerging Leaders Program. Sinjini has presented and published widely in cardiology and has clinical and research interests in intracoronary imaging, calcium modification techniques, and bifurcation PCI.
