Phillip Moore MD, MBA
Dr. Moore is a pediatric and adult congenital interventional cardiologist, chief of the UCSF Division of Pediatric Cardiology, and Co-Director of the UCSF Pediatric Heart Center.
Dr. Moore earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Washington Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at UCSF. After a senior fellowship in interventional congenital cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, he remained on staff at Boston Children’s for three years before returning to UCSF, where he has practiced for the last 30 years. Mid-career, he completed an MBA focusing on health care and has remained active in adult congenital and pediatric interventional cardiology, health care administration, and clinical research throughout his career.
