Pradnya Brijmohan Bhattad, MD, FSCAI | SCAI

Dr. Pradnya Brijmohan Bhattad, MD, FSCAI, is an interventional and nuclear cardiologist with clinical and academic interests in complex coronary interventions, cardiovascular imaging, digital health innovation, physician and patient education, and healthcare systems improvement.  

Dr. Bhattad has engaged in international leadership and educational initiatives advancing complex coronary interventions and global cardiovascular education. She serves in multiple national and international leadership and scholarly roles, including invited editorial appointments with peer-reviewed medical journals, national physician certification and examination content development initiatives, and invited expert contributions to federal healthcare policy discussions convened through the US Department of Health and Human Services Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee, and appointment to the Massachusetts Medical Society Committee on Information Technology.

She serves in editorial leadership roles with peer-reviewed medical journals, including Associate Editor for Frontiers in Disaster and Emergency Medicine, Assistant Editor for Journal of Investigative Medicine, and Invited Guest Editor for Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine.  

Dr. Bhattad is the founder of HrtX24, a physician-led digital health and medical education initiative focused on cardiovascular emergency education and healthcare innovation through platforms including HeartX.org and HrtX24.com. She is also an inventor on a provisional US patent related to AI-enabled digital healthcare systems and physician-access technologies. 

She has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications in cardiovascular medicine, digital health, and physician education, with scholarly work spanning patient education, health literacy, and healthcare innovation.  contributing to position papers in collaboration with the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC) and the Italian Society of Pediatric Cardiology (SICP).
