Dr. Nyal Borges is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who practices at Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute of Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC. He serves as the director of interventional cardiology for the greater Charlotte region. He has expertise in the management of complex coronary artery disease, chronic total occlusions, pulmonary embolism, and cardiogenic shock. He serves as the interventional director of the Center for Venous Thromboembolic Disease at Atrium Health. Dr. Borges is involved in clinical trial enrollment and serves as the site's PI for multiple international clinical trials.
