Dr. Nidhi Madan is a structural interventional cardiologist at UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, focusing on transcatheter valve therapies, structural heart interventions, and coronary artery disease. She completed her internal medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and concurrently earned a Master’s in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She subsequently completed fellowships in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, and structural heart interventions at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Madan contributes actively to leadership and educational initiatives within national cardiovascular societies. She serves on the Structural Heart Disease Council and Education Committee of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and previously co-chaired the SCAI Women in Innovations (WIN) Education Sub-Committee. She is a past chair of the SCCT FIRST Committee, a graduate of the SCCT Future Leaders Program and is currently a member of the American College of Cardiology’s Leadership Accelerator Program Cohort of 2024–2025.
Her clinical and academic interests center on advancing structural heart care through innovation and the integration of advanced imaging—particularly cardiac CT—to enhance procedural planning and improve patient outcomes.
