Niall P. Linnane, MB, BCh, BAO, MD | SCAI

Niall Linnane, MD, trained in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology in Ireland. He is currently a congenital interventional cardiology fellow at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital. During his pediatric cardiology training, he completed an MD degree in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, assessing the biomechanics and histology of native neonatal coarctation of the aorta tissue. 

Dr Linnane has published multiple peer-reviewed articles, many as first author, and has presented at multiple international conferences. He won the Charles S. Kleinmen Scientific Scholarship Award at the Pediatric and Congenital Interventional Cardiology Society conference in Chicago in 2022 for the best scientific abstract based on his work on assessing the biomechanics of porcine arterial tissue.

Dr Linnane has an interest in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) and will be pursuing an advanced fellowship in ACHD in UCLA starting in July 2025.
