Marwan Saad, MD, PhD, FSCAI | SCAI

Marwan Saad, MD, PhD, FSCAI, is an interventional cardiologist with expertise in complex coronary interventions and transcatheter structural and valvular heart therapies. He holds multiple leadership roles at the Brown University Cardiovascular Institute, including Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program, Director of Interventional Structural Heart Research, and Director of the Interventional Cardiology Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Saad is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and structural heart disease, with additional certifications in adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular computed tomography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), and the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and serves on multiple national and international societal committees.

Dr. Saad serves as a principal and co-investigator in numerous multicenter randomized clinical trials. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications in leading cardiovascular journals and is a reviewer for several top-tier journals in the field. His research focuses on improving outcomes in coronary and structural heart interventions, particularly in high-risk and complex patient populations. He is an invited faculty member and speaker at major national and international cardiology conferences.
