Kenneth Igbalode, MD, FSCAI, is a board-certified physician in the fields of internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology. His procedural skill set encompasses the spectrum of invasive cardiovascular procedures, including percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and mechanical circulatory support. He is a former committee member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (SCAI). He has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and as a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (FSCAI). He completed his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, with postgraduate/residency training in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He pursued specialty fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston. He has served as the medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington, since 2021. Under his leadership, he has helped to successfully transition the practice to a radial-first program and has overseen the incorporation of numerous impactful coronary devices and technologies to more effectively and safely deliver contemporary interventional care for the most complex cardiac patients.
