Julie A. Vincent, MD, FSCAI, was Dr. Charles E. Mullins’ first “formal” fourth-year interventional catheterization fellow at Texas Children’s Hospital (1994–95). Throughout her career, Dr. Vincent developed and/or directed pediatric interventional catheterization teams at Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital (Stanford), Children’s Hospital of Michigan (Wayne State), Texas Children’s Hospital (Baylor), Phoenix Children’s Hospital (Arizona), and New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospitals (Columbia and Weill Cornell). Dr. Vincent joined the division of Pediatric Cardiology at Columbia University in 2008 and was the medical director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at both the Columbia and Weill Cornell campuses (2008–2015), the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship program director for the bicampus training program (2009–2014), and the division chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Columbia University (2013–2020). In 2020, she retired from Columbia University as the Welton M. Gersony professor emerita. She has been a member and fellow of SCAI for more than 20 years.
