Overview

The third installment of this series will provide step-by-step guidance to treating bifurcation complications. Through case-based discussions, expert faculty demonstrate how to deal with jailed wires, perforations, and difficult catheter crossings.

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of these activities, participants will be able to:

  • Assess and apply procedural techniques to treat bifurcation lesions
  • Examine imaging modalities and their best applications
  • Discuss challenging bifurcation cases
  • Explain treatment of bifurcation lesions in the presence of cardiogenic shock and STEMI

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1 medical knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.​
