2026 Coding Debrief: Lessons, Questions, and Next Steps | SCAI

Overview

Case scenarios for both PCI and LER will be reviewed and coded. Panelists will answer questions about the coding changes and address concerns that have been raised since the codes took effect.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of these activities, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the 2026 PCI codes accurately in clinical documentation and billing 
  • Apply the 2026 lower extremity revascularization (LER) codes accurately in clinical documentation and billing 
  • Identify key documentation elements required for accurate coding and reimbursement 
  • Implement best practices to reduce denials and optimize reimbursement 
  • Utilize tip sheets, videos, and cheat sheets to reinforce learning and support implementation 
  • Resolve coding challenges through expert-led discussions and case-based learning
