Debabrata Dash, MD, DM, FSCAI | SCAI

Dr. Debabrata Dash is a senior consultant interventional cardiologist at Aster Hospital Dubai with more than two decades of distinguished experience in advanced coronary and structural cardiac interventions. He has been in active clinical practice since 2000 and has trained and worked at internationally renowned cardiovascular centers, including Taipei Veterans General Hospital and Toyohashi Heart Center, in addition to several premier institutions in India.

Dr. Dash possesses extensive expertise in complex and high-volume catheterization laboratory procedures, with particular proficiency in primary PCI, left main, bifurcation, and CTO interventions. Recognized for his academic contributions, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, review articles, and book chapters in leading cardiovascular journals. He also served as guest chief editor for the chronic total occlusion thematic issue of Current Cardiology Reviews and continues to play an active role in cardiovascular research and scholarly publishing.

Dr. Dash currently serves as deputy editor-in-chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular Intervention and is a member of the editorial boards of several internationally acclaimed journals, including the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (JSCAI), Korean Circulation Journal, and Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine. He also serves as a committee member on the American College of Cardiology Interventional Section Leadership Council.
