The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services published their final National Coverage Determination (NCD) covering radiofrequency and ultrasound renal denervation on October 28, 2025.

Two Category 3 CPT codes apply to renal denervation, which leave the Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and commercial payers to carrier price the procedures.
