Bronchial Artery Embolization in Massive Hemoptysis
Pulmonary Embolism
The patient is a 69-year-old male with diabetes and tuberculosis on anti-tubercular treatment who presented with massive hemoptysis. After a multi-disciplinary team meeting, the patient was taken to the cath lab and underwent successful embolization of the Right Bronchial arteries and Right internal mammary artery. There was complete resolution of hemoptysis and the patient was continued on these anti-tubercular drugs with no recurrence of symptoms.
