Dr. Brian C. Case is an interventional cardiologist at the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute, practicing at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital. He serves as chief of interventional cardiology and director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital. He also holds an academic appointment as an assistant professor of medicine at Georgetown University.

Dr. Case completed his internal medicine residency, chief residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

He currently serves as the cardiovascular scientific lead at both MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts and is a principal investigator in several large-scale, international cardiovascular clinical trials. In recognition of his contributions to research, he was named a "Young Leader in Cardiology" at the Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) Conference in 2022.
