Angela Lowenstern, MD, MHS, FSCAI | SCAI

Dr. Lowenstern, MD, MHS, is an assistant professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University, specializing in the care of patients with coronary and structural heart disease. She completed her internal medicine residency, cardiovascular fellowship, interventional cardiology, and structural heart disease training at Duke University. She also completed two years of dedicated clinical research training at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. Her research interests include the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease as well as the percutaneous management and outcomes of patients with structural heart disease. In addition to her clinical and research endeavors, she plays an active role in medical education as the associate program director for the Vanderbilt Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program.
