Dr Andrea Scotti is an interventional cardiologist at Montefiore Medical Center (New York) and an assistant professor of medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His specific expertise is in structural heart interventions for valvular heart disease.
He is an investigator in several ongoing pivotal and early feasibility clinical trials of aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve disease. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts in leading journals, including JACC, Circulation, and the European Heart Journal. He published a comprehensive book on transcatheter valve replacement. He serves on the editorial board of leading journals in interventional cardiology and is regularly invited as faculty at major international conferences.
