Dr. Ali Ebrahimi was born in New York and completed his medical training at several leading academic institutions. He trained at the University of Virginia, followed by additional clinical training in Tampa, Florida, before completing advanced interventional and structural cardiology training at the University of Alabama. His clinical and academic interests focus on advanced cardiovascular imaging, novel valve technologies, complex coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and advanced management of complex valvular heart disease. 
 
Dr. Ebrahimi currently serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Interventional Cardiology at the University of Alabama. In addition to his faculty role, he is the director of novel technologies and the cath lab innovations director, where he leads efforts to integrate cutting-edge transcatheter therapies, advanced imaging platforms, and innovative procedural workflows to improve patient care and advance interventional cardiovascular medicine.
