Ahmed Al-Ogaili, MD, FSCAI | SCAI

Ahmed Al-Ogaili is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and an early career interventional cardiologist at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. His area of clinical interest includes complex coronary artery interventions, specifically chronic total occlusions. 

Ahmed recently completed a CHIP fellowship training at the Minneapolis Heart Institute in June 2024. He finished his interventional cardiology training at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. 

Ahmed obtained his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan. Subsequently, he moved to the United States and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. During his training, he served as a chief medical resident and chief cardiology fellow and won multiple clinical excellence awards.

Ahmed has been actively involved in research throughout his career, with presentations at the major cardiology congresses and peer-reviewed publications. He is board-certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiovascular diseases.
