• Taxis

    More than ten taxi companies provide service to and from the airport and locations throughout Las Vegas. Some taxis will not accept credit card payments. Customers should notify the attendant if they plan to use a credit card for payment.

    There is a $2.00 charge on all fares originating at the airport.

    The maximum number of passengers allowed in any taxi is five (5), including infants and children.

    At Terminal 1, taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1–4.  At Terminal 3, taxis are conveniently located outside on Level Zero. There are 20 taxi loading positions on the west end of the building to serve domestic travelers and 10 loading positions on the east side of the building to accommodate international travelers. Airport personnel is available to help queue the lines and provide assistance as needed.

    At the Cosmopolitan, you can catch a taxi at the stand right outside of the main lobby where the entrance is located. A Cosmopolitan customer service representative will be there to assist you.

    Please note that taxis rarely stop on the strip, but you can catch one from any hotel.

     

    Airport Shuttles

    There are no free shuttles from the airport to the Cosmopolitan and vice versa, however, there are group shuttle services you may book. At Terminal 1, Group shuttles are available on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7–13. At Terminal 3, shuttles are conveniently located outside on Level Zero on the west end of the building to serve domestic travelers and on the east side of the building to accommodate international travelers.

    Public Bus Transportation

    The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) provides bus service to and from McCarran International Airport. For route information, please visit the RTC website.

    Terminal 1 is served by Route 108—Paradise, Route 109—Maryland Parkway, and the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) route.

    The bus stop at Terminal 1 is located on Level Zero.  From baggage claim, take the elevator or escalator down one level. Exit the terminal building and proceed across the pedestrian crosswalk. Veer right to the covered RTC bus stop.

    Terminal 3 is served by the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) and Centennial Express (CX) routes.

    The RTC bus stop at Terminal 3 is located at the Departures curb on level 2. From Baggage Claim, take the elevator or escalator up to level 2. Exit the terminal building and proceed across the pedestrian crosswalk. The RTC bus stop is located across from door 44.

     

    Uber and Lyft

    Rideshare apps are other ways to get to and from the airport and hotel. You can download Uber and/or Lyft from your phone’s application store. The app will designate the pick-up and drop-off areas at the airport and hotel.
