Larry S. Dean, MD, FSCAI, past president of SCAI and one of several co-authors of "2013 Multimodality Appropriate Use Criteria for the Detection and Risk Assessment of Stable Ischemic Heart Disease" highlights key takeaways of the newly released clinical document, which addresses 80 different clinical scenarios for the diagnosis and management of SIHD patients using various imaging modalities.
The listed documents on SCAI's Clinical Guidelines & Resources Page have either been developed by the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, or have been jointly produced, collaborated with, or endorsed by the SCAI. The Society's Publications Committee oversees the development, peer-review and opportunity for collaborating with other similar societies.
