WIN TAVI Registry Is the Talk of JIM

    February 16, 2012

WIN's proposed data registry for female patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) was a topic of much discussion at the Joint Interventional Meeting (JIM) in Rome last week.

The TAVI registry will be a multi-national European study which will aim to determine whether or not there are differences between men and women undergoing the TAVI procedure. The registry aims to enroll 20 centers, and will collect data for 1,000 female patients over a one year period.
