    • Upcoming Events - WIN will co-sponsor the Women and Heart Disease luncheon as part of the 2011 CRT program in Washington, DC. If you plan to attend CRT, you do not want to miss this event. The luncheon will take place Sunday, February 27th from 12:00-2:00pm in the Regency Ballroom of the Omni Shoreham Hotel. For more information, please click HERE.
    • Breaking News - February is American Heart Month, and WIN recently released a statement expressing our support for all of the wonderful efforts going on around the US this month in contribution to women's heart health. WIN is of course making its own efforts in this area, and looks forward to continued world-wide success. To read the full statement, please click HERE.
    • World Tracker - Congratulations to WIN member Patricia Best, MD, FSCAI, lead author of the newly published "SCAI Consensus Document on Occupational Radiation Exposure to the Pregnant Cardiologist and Technical Personnel." The paper will publish in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions (CCI), EuroInterventions, Heart Lung and Circulation (Australia) and Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics (Japan). This paper is the foundation for future projects related to radiation safety for women operating in the cath lab, including a similar study in Europe.
