    • Breaking News - Based on success of a pilot study sponsored by Abbott Vascular’s Women’s Heart Health Initiative, SCAI WIN will now help launch a second phase of an OB/GYN patient screening study. The goal of the second phase study is to understand the potential impact and scalability of the screening tool, aimed at detecting heart disease in women during routine visits to their OB/GYN. The second phase will also look to better understand the link between heart disease and pregnancy complications. Read more HERE.
    • Upcoming Events - WIN will host a “Women in Interventional Cardiology” lunch session at the SCAI Annual Scientific Sessions on Friday, May 10th in Orlando, FL. To find out more, click HERE
    • World Tracker - We are proud to report that the WIN TAVI Registry is now collecting patient data! The goal is to collect data on 1,000 female TAVI patients throughout Europe in order to gain a stronger understanding of aortic valve stenosis specifically in women. Congratulations to study PI and WIN Co-Chair Alaide Chieffo, MD, FSCAI and all of the WIN leadership for their efforts to launch this innovative registry.
