    • Breaking News - While there is still work to be done in 2011, the WIN 2011 Annual Review is out now! WIN was able to accomplish more in 2011 than in any of its previous years combined. We are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2012, with ongoing international growth and the development of key research and educational projects. I look forward to sharing these initiatives with all of you as we continue on our journey to improve professional opportunities for female interventional cardiologists and resolve gender disparity issues in cardiovascular care.  You can read WIN's mission in full detail and access the WIN 2011 Annual Review HERE.
    • Upcoming Events - WIN is a proud co-sponsor of the upcoming Women and Heart Disease Lunch Symposium at CRT on February 5, 2012 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. And don’t forget to join WIN next week for a lunch symposium on atrial fibrillation and hypertension at TCT on Wednesday, November 9th in the Presentation Theater North. For the agenda, please click HERE.
    • World Tracker - On December 8, 2011 WIN will host a Gender Data Forum in Washington, DC. The forum, hosted in partnership with the American College of Cardiology, will be a unique opportunity for trial investigators to gather and present the gender related data from major ACS/AMI trials around the world. Representatives from industry, regulatory bodies and patient/professional groups will attend to discuss how the data might impact their fields. The event will be the first of two forums, with the second focused on cardiovascular devices slated for next June. WIN looks forward to sharing the results of these exciting events with all of you.
