What are the benefits to patients of interventional procedures like angioplasty or stents?
The real benefits to patients is that in most circumstances they feel better, they’re able to do more, live more normal lives, they might wind up taking fewer medicines. And ultimately, particularly if they’re having a heart attack they will be more likely to survive and will live longer under those circumstances.
