SCAI WEBolution: Have You Visited the New SCAI.org?

Have you visited the all-new SCAI.org? Streamlined navigation, new content and expanded interest areas are just some of the improvements you will find.

One of the new additions that users will immediately notice is the rotating news spotlight that reflects the breadth and importance of current Society activities. SCAI's Calendar of Events has also been moved to the home page to make the user experience a quicker one.

One important aspect to note is that the site will be continually evolving. Several projects are currently under way to add new tools and features in the coming weeks such as a new and improved Career Center and an index of registries. Be on the lookout for even more!

    Having Login Issues?

If you haven't yet logged into the new SCAI.org we encourage you to do so. Please note that the new site requires you to use your email address and create a news password to login. Additional information on logging into the new site is available at http://www.scai.org/Membership/login.aspx. If you are still having issues please contact Mary Hogan at mhogan@scai.org.

CCI: Complete Revascularization Improves PAD Outcomes

A 3-year, retrospective study by cardiologists from the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation and the University of Minnesota determined that 28.8% of patients with significant coronary artery disease (CAD) who did not undergo complete revascularization had a higher mortality rate than patients completely revascularized. Results of this study appear in the May issue of Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions (CCI), the official journal of SCAI. More information on this study.
