Q: Can I use the courses for CME?
A: During your Fellowship, the content is not eligible for CME.Q: Can I export all the screens of a unit and use them in my own presentations?
A: No. The presentations are the property of SCAI.Q: Do I have to download the Authorware plugin to preview units?
A: Yes. It contains the software to enhance the eLearning experience.
Q: If I don’t want to complete a course my Program Director assigned, can I remove it?
A: No. Your Program Director would need to delete it from your record.Q: Can my Program Director see if I started assigned courses?
A: Yes. They can see the due date they established for course completion, the date courses are started, and if courses are completed.Q: Can I take only a few units within a course?
A: Yes, you can choose to select individual units from courses not assigned by your Program Director. If, however, you enroll in a course, all units must completed if you want a score for that course.Q: If I have a list of courses, do I need to do them in a particular order?
A: No. The courses are provided in a recommended sequence. However, depending on your topics of interest and where you are in your program, you may want to complete some courses before others.Q: Can I remove a course I enrolled in myself?
A: Yes. You may always delete courses and units you chose to add. If you have taken a course test, it will remain on your transcript.Q: Can I preview a unit to decide if I want to complete it?
A: No. You must enroll to see a unit. You may always delete it from your record.
Q: I added a unit, and I think the content for the course is valuable. May I now enroll and take the entire course and get credit for it?
A: Yes. Just enroll in the course. Your previous work on the course will be recognized and become part of the course record.
Q: How many times may I take a course test?
A: You may take a course test as many times as you wish. If you remove a course after taking a test where the score has been recorded and enroll in the course again, only your initial test score will appear on the transcript.Q: Who has access to my course scores?
A: Only you and your Program Directors can view your course scores.Q: Can I retake a test and update the score on my transcript?
A: No. Although course tests can be taken more than once, only the initial score will appear on your transcript.Q: What is the Pass/Fail percentage on a test?
A: Pass/Fail will be determined by your Program Director.Q: Why doesn’t my transcript show all the units I have taken?
A: The transcript only records completed scores from courses and does not list individual units.
Navigating the Courses
Q: Can I have both the audio and narration transcript on at the same time?
A: Yes. Activate both buttons.Q: I see a “Show All” button. What does it do?
A: It completes the animation in case you are reviewing the screen and do not want to wait through the narration.Q: Can the transcript box be moved around on the screen?
A: Yes. Move it as you would any window.
Q: Do I receive credit for completing case studies?
A: If the case study is part of a course, you are required to complete it for credit for the course test. Case studies accessed from the left menu are for your own self-paced learning.Q: Is there any limit to the number of times cases can be watched?
A: No. They are always available.Q: How often will case studies be added?
A: The IFI Editorial Board will select cases to be added. If you would like to be notified of the addition of new cases, sign up for the IFI email on the Registration screen.
