    This course details the scientific underpinnings of interventional cardiology. The lectures address the molecular and cellular biology of atherosclerosis, the pathologic correlates of acute coronary syndromes, the physiologic determinants of thrombosis, the animal models that have informed the development of technology in the field, and biostatistics. Taken together, each of the five lectures in this module comprises the core basic concepts in interventional cardiology. This course is ideal for all general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellows.
