The Interventional Fellows Institute Curriculum is targeted to Interventional Cardiology fellows in an ACGME-accredited (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) fellowship program, Interventional Cardiology fellows in a non-ACGME fellowship program, and Fellows in a cardiovascular disease fellowship program. However, the IFI curriculum has been developed with the purpose of addressing the interventional program graduate as well.
Although Fellows may not be interested in the content from a CME credit perspective, the curriculum was developed with a wide audience of physician learners in mind, and under ACCME guidelines. For Fellows, IFI provides access to lectures from world-renowned thought leaders, and provocative cases to review—both of which are accessible to Fellows on demand.
The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. It is the policy of The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all its sponsored educational programs. All faculty participating in Interventional Fellows Institute Curriculum are required to disclose to the program audience any real or apparent conflict of interest related to the content of their presentations. All faculty complied with this disclosure policy.
This activity is sponsored by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and is supported through an educational grant from Cordis Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company.
