• SCAI SHOCK: A Team-Based Course on Cardiogenic Shock

    Friday, October 12 - 13, 2018

Boston Park Plaza, 50 Park Plaza at Arlington Street
    Boston, MA

SCAI SHOCK: A Team-Based Course on Cardiogenic Shock aims to provide a comprehensive review of the diagnosis and management of cardiogenic shock, including non-invasive and invasive diagnostic, advanced hemodynamic monitoring and assessment, and contemporary treatment, with an aim to ultimately improve the mortality. It will include several case-based presentations to provide in-depth coverage of the area, incorporation of novel algorithms and the growing basic and clinical science, and encourage active audience participation, including break-out sessions and simulators. Management of shock is a rapidly evolving area of high interest to interventional cardiologists, not only for its ongoing high mortality and relationship to STEMI, but also for the novel technology in this space, public reporting, and physician scorecard aspects.
